name is Jinyong) has released his first collection of essays after ten
years of silence.

first collection of essays after ten years of silence.

The "Louis Cha Essay Collection" collates classic articles the writer
published in a variety of newspapers and magazines in the past 60 years.

The collection includes more than 100 musings, travelogues, and critiques
of films, dramas, musicals and operas. A number of articles also relate
Cha's experiences creating martial-arts novels.

The 82-year-old author revised the 4-million-word plus tome three times
before the Writers Publishing House published it.

Hong Kong-based Louis Cha is famed for his contemporary kung fu novels. A
number of his works have been adapted to the big screen, including "The
Legend of The Condor Heroes," "Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils " and "The Book
and the Sword".
