Honesty is best policy when getting married
A woman who lied about her age and how many times she was married has
been taken to court by her husband, in Zhengzhou, Henan Province.
The 47-year-old woman, surnamed Pan, claimed to be 37 and married just
once before, but her husband discovered she had actually divorced twice.
The deceived man, surnamed Yin, 42, felt he had been fooled by Pan and
filed for divorce and compensation.
Zhengzhou Jinshui District People's Court accepted the suit and will hold
a public hearing.

Migrant's feel-good story makes the rounds
A migrant worker has won plaudits for looking after 680 widows and
orphans in the past 11 years, in Huangchuan, Henan Province.
His story was so touching it was covered by more than 50 national and
local and media organizations.
Huang was said to have spent more than 1 million yuan ($129,000) over the
past two decades supporting his relatives and the widows and orphans.
Huang, 45, said he would carry on supporting local families and hoped his
story would help raise awareness of the plight of others.
